A Travel Story From Chloé Sabourin
Last April, with my boyfriend, I had the chance to go enjoy spring skiing at the Tremblant ski resort and stay at Les Suites Tremblant at the Lodge de la Montagne hotel. This ski-in ski-out hotel is ideally located for quick access to the first slopes in the morning, a few steps away from the gondola and the bottom of the mountain.
In my opinion, the luxury of putting on your boots and your skis, and heading straight to the lifts is a real plus for a hassle-free ski vacation. In addition, the hotel is just a stone’s throw from all the services, restaurants and shops of the pedestrian village, so I can make the most of every moment of my weekend with my friends and boyfriend.
It was the perfect opportunity for a spring skiing weekend, my favourite season! The atmosphere is absolutely unique in Tremblant: people are in a good mood, we can dine outside with friends after a few runs, and extend the days with après-ski on the sunny terraces. And when it comes to spring skiing in the Laurentians, Tremblant is 100% my favourite ski resort for that.
Our room was spacious and comfortable. It had a separate room with a large king bed, plus a small living room with a sofa bed for guests, a handy kitchenette for preparing a snack before heading to the slopes, and a perfect fireplace for drying our ski boots at the end of the day. Additionally, we were able to relax and sunbathe after our day of skiing at the hotel’s outdoor spa and enjoy the large, shared terrace with a view of the village.
After a few afternoon runs, we enjoyed the sun on the terrace of La Forge with friends for a well-deserved après-ski with a few cocktails and a delicious nacho meal to end the day in style in the pedestrian village. For me, a spring ski day at Tremblant is never complete without a terrace!
The location of the hotel Lodge de la Montagne was ideal to fully enjoy our ski weekend and everything Tremblant has to offer. Everything was within reach: restaurants, shops, morning cafes (necessary for my survival), and of course, the slopes at the foot of the hotel. We loved our stay and highly recommend the place to anyone looking to experience the best version of spring skiing in the Laurentians.
