Great Reasons to Enjoy Tremblant Between Halloween and the Start of Ski Season

The summer season is in full swing from May through October. But what can you do in Tremblant in late October and in November, when summer is over and ski season kicks off in the end of November? Some call it the “shoulder season” or the “off-season.” Here are some useful details for your visit…

Activities

First, it’s good to know that several key attractions, such as the gondola, alpine luge, the evening light trail walk, golf courses and the zipline, remain open at least until Thanksgiving weekend in October, which often coincides with the fading of the vibrance in the leave colours.

In November, outdoor fun continues with activities like hiking in the free trails, horseback riding, go-karting, ATV adventures, and a variety of guided tours. And of course, year-round indoor activities are always available: indoor water slides, laser tag, escape games, virtual reality, ceramic painting, stuffed animal making… and don’t forget the Casino for adult outings.

Atmosphere & Events

On fall weekends, the site comes alive with a musical atmosphere. Live performances and concerts take place both in the village and atop the mountain. Other not-to-be-missed events include the Classique Tremblant trail race and trick-or-treating in the village, which gets beautifully decorated for Halloween.

Advantages

During this period, you’ll find great rates at Les Suites Tremblant hotels, all ideally located directly in the pedestrian village at the base of the slopes, so there’s no need for transportation during your stay.

It’s also a quieter time onsite. You’ll enjoy relaxing in cafés, browsing boutiques, and walking through the village with a warm drink in hand. Nature’s colours evolve week by week, from vibrant tones in October to the soft, peaceful hues of November.

It’s the perfect time to indulge in the comfort of your room: a cozy bed that invites you to stay in, a living room and kitchenette, a fireplace for those cocooning moments, and views of the village or the surrounding nature. It’s also a great moment to unwind in your hotel’s spa or treat yourself to a thermal experience at Scandinave Spa.
