New activity at Tremblant – Summer Skiing

A modern and refreshing novelty has been added to the already busy summer offer at Tremblant: summer skiing! Learning to ski or snowboard and testing your turns on a synthetic surface will now be possible at Tremblant starting August 18. Enthusiasts will be able to concentrate on their descent while equipment loan is included and guides are present on the slope.

Two types of surfaces are offered in the learning area: a long-fibre mat for a softer surface in the High Balance track allows for wider turns and the short-fibre mat for a firmer surface in the Piste Équilibre Bas places more emphasis on braking techniques and control of your skis or board.

Equipment rental is included with access (skis, boots, poles and helmet or snowboard, boots and helmet) and the rental center is located at the top of the mat. Guides are present to accompany skiers and snowboarders of all ages. You can also bring your own equipment at the same price. For a duration of one hour per block of skiers, this activity is open 7 days a week, regardless of the weather, from August 18 to September 4, and then will be open on weekends only, from September 5 to October 15.

Skiing during the summer season is an original way to experience winter sports before the snow arrives. Another opportunity to create memorable moments, signed Tremblant!

A breath of fresh air at the Sommet des Neiges

Popular for its location at the foot of the slopes and for the views from its balconies, the Sommet des Neiges hotel offers 110 units ranging from one to three bedrooms and can accommodate all types of clienteles, whether with family, friends or a romantic getaway. As of December 2022, loyal customers, owners and guests will enjoy newly renovated units with a more contemporary décor. Renovations which began in April of this year, will offer brighter rooms and a wonderful accord between the unique exterior structure and the comfort of a world-class hotel.

The redesigned layout will allow guests to spend a pleasant and warm après-ski at the foot of the slopes!

With a view to social responsibility, certain pieces of furniture no longer useful for the hotel were donated to non-profit organizations such as Welcome Collective in Montreal and La Samaritaine in Mont-Tremblant, while several others were restored by various local contractors.

See below for an overview of the work.  We look forward to welcoming you in these new bright spaces!
